Last year, there was a station called 2020 The Blink, and it was a lot of fun to listen to. Unfortunately it had to close down. The great news though, is it's back! Be sure to have your pizza and drink of choice ready starting this Friday at 7:00 PM eastern, when the newest internet radio station launches!

Now we realize that there are hundreds upon hundreds of stations out there to choose from. What sets the blink apart from the rest? On this station, you'll hear lots of great music from people just like you and me, playing the music they love and talking about life in general. So if you're a music lover you're bound to find a few shows you like.
Another big reason the station is different is that it features family-friendly programming. Now before everyone starts booing an hissing, let me just add that this isn't such a bad thing. It's not radio disney, but it ain't boring either. When you tune in, you're sure to be able to keep this station on, even if the kids are in the room.
There's a website already up, and you can check it out right now by going to:

http://2020theblink.net
You'll find a fully loaded schedule, a broadcaster's application, and of course a tune-in link. Note again that this tune-in link doesn't work yet and won't work until the official launch time.
You'll find some djs you know an love, as well as some new voices and shows as well.
*insert plug here* my show on there can be heard Thursday evenings from 10:00 P.M. to 1:00 A.m. Eastern early Friday morning.
So, tell all your friends, neighbors, kitchen appliances and anyone and everyone else you know that The Blink is coming back! Again, the big launch happens this coming Friday, September 12th, 2008, at 7:00 PM Eastern time. again, the website is:

http://2020theblink.net

To make a request or talk to the dj currently online, feel free to add the address, music@2020theblink.net

to your windows live, or Yahoo messenger. Get ready, because it's going to be a hell of a lot of fun, and that's what this whole thing is about, fun!

Damn isn't a word you can say on the station, is it? I told my neighbor's blow up doll, and it popped. Is that good or bad?

I'd say bad.

So I told my friend's guidedog, and he promptly went and retrieved the peanut butter from the pantry. Is that good or bad? I think it's good that I don't let him lick me at least...

LOL yes, damn and hell will be used I'm quite sure. Like I said before it's not super squeaky clean. Super squeaky clean is boring and takes all the fun out of life. We're just going for something that is creative and fun that's suitable for everyone.

It's placing acheck on what you can do, forcing you to work harder for your amusement than a station that doesn't care about language. It's a good idea, with the sheer amount of stations that now exist.
